Richard Serra’s East-West/West-East
Four steel plates, 14.7 to 16.7 metres tall, stand in a line over a kilometre long in the Brouq Nature Reserve near Zekreet. Serra completed the sculpture in 2014, and all four plates can be seen from either end.
Al Maha Sanctuary and the Arabian oryx
The Arabian oryx, Qatar’s national animal, roams the protected land. Sightings are not guaranteed, and the sanctuary is not open every day, so check with us before you book.

In Al Samriya, about 22 km west of Doha, this private museum holds more than 15,000 items, including Islamic art, Qatari heritage, carpets and a car museum with over 600 vehicles. You have 90 minutes to walk through at your own pace, with no guide required.
